Location of stops on Ķipsala and some public transport routes to change due to events of „We Run Riga 2018”
On Saturday, September 22, during „We Run Riga 2018” event, from 12:00 until approximately 17:00 and from 19:00 until approximately 21:00, some public transport routes will be changed.
From 12:00 until 17:00
Traffic on the approach to the Vanšu Bridge will be closed. Stop „Ķīpsala” will be transferred to the main lane in both directions. Trolleybuses No. 5, 12, 25 and buses No. 13, 30, 37, 41, 53 will run across Vanšu Bridge without turning to Ķīpsala.
Trolleybus No. 9 will run from Railway Terminal Square to Iļģuciems by the route to Uzvaras Boulevard, then along Uzvaras Boulevard, Slokas Street, Kalnciema Street and further by the route.
Bus No. 13 will run from terminal „Preču – 2” to Babīte railway station by the route to Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, then along Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, Slokas Street, Dagmāras Street, Buļļu Street and further by the route.
Bus route No. 57 will be closed from 12:00 until 17:00. It is scheduled that the bus will resume traffic from terminal „Abrenes Street” at 17:30.
Minibuses No. 237 and 241 and express bus No. 336 will run across Vanšu Bridge without turning to Ķīpsala.
From 19:00 till 21:00
Traffic on the approach to the Vanšu Bridge will be closed. Stop „Ķīpsala” will be transferred to the main lane in the direction of the city centre. Trolleybuses No. 5, 12, 25 and buses No. 13, 30, 37, 41, 53 will run from Pārdaugava across Vanšu Bridge without turning to Ķīpsala.
Trolleybus No. 9 will run from Railway Terminal Square to Iļģuciems by the route to Uzvaras Boulevard, then in Uzvaras Boulevard, Slokas Street, Kalnciema Street and further by the route.
Buses No. 10 and 26 will run from terminal „Abrenes Street” by the route to Akmens Bridge, then across Akmens Bridge, Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Mūkusalas Street and further by the route.
Bus No. 23 will run from terminal „Abrenes Street” to Baloži by the route to Akmens Bridge, then across Akmens Bridge, Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street and further by the route.
Trolleybus No. 27 will run from terminal „Railway Terminal Square” to Ziepniekkalns by the route to Akmens tiltam, then across Akmens Bridge, Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Mūkusalas Street and further by the route.
Minibuses No. 237 and 241 and express bus No. 336 will run from Pārdaugava across Vanšu Bridge without turning to Ķīpsala.
On September 22, from 12:00 until 17:00 and from 19:00 till 21:00, those passengers who use monthly cards on changed bus and trolleybus routes will be allowed to use them on other bus and trolleybus routes to reach the necessary destination, without registering their trip.
